Lonnie Porter Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 10, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Lonnie Porter of North Providence, Rhode Island, born in Easley, South Carolina. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Waddie Porter and Hallie Porter (Richey); and his siblings, Mary Lou Knighton, Marlene Polofsky, Roger Porter, Donald Porter and Karen Bagwell.
He is survived by: his children, Robin, Curtis and Craig; his wife Nancy Porter (Mitchell); his grandchildren, Joshua Lapati, Mitchell Porter, Jaxson Porter, Alena Nash, Nathan Nash and Ethan Ferretti; his sister-in-law Susan Slade; his nieces, Elizabeth and Heather; and his aunt Mary Knight. He is also survived by several cousins, many nieces and nephews he considered his own children, as well as several great nieces and nephews.
The family requests that visitors please wear a mask, whether vaccinated or not.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Joe Porter's memory to Hope Church for the elevator project.
