He is survived by: his spouse Jean Albanese (Del Grande); his children, Cynthia Bertoncini (David) and Leonard Albanese Jr.; his grandchildren, Michael David Bertoncini and Alexa Marie Albanese; and his siblings, Lena DeStefano, Esther Betts, Edith Simeone, Anna Polce, Andrew, Albert and Joseph.
