It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Scungio (North Providence, Rhode Island), who passed away on November 26, 2018, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his spouse Clara Scungio (Capraro); his parent Benedetto Scungio; and his sibling Anthony Scungio. He is survived by: his parent Assunta Scungio (Scuncio); his daughters, Beverly Depault (Raymond Maxwell) and Mary Ann LaFazia; his grandchildren, Jeff Depault (Rayna Swanton), Kenny Depault and Deborah Rossi; his great grandchildren, Emily and Sadie Depault; and his siblings, Carmella Tagliarini, Margaret Rossi, Anna Rossi and Rose Hennessey.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cherry Hill Nursing Home Activities Fund, 2 Cherry Hill Road, Johnston, RI 02919.
