He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Sr. and Alice (Malo); and his wife Olivia. He is survived by: his children, Wayne Dalesio (Carolyn), Jacquelyn Dalesio, Richard (Deborah), Michael (Maureen), Lori Dalesio and Lisa Gavlick (Paul); and his brother Gerard (Janet). He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
