He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Hopkins and Margaret Hopkins (McGauley); and his siblings, Henry Hopkins and Margaret Mancini. He is survived by: his wife Maureen Hopkins (DelVecchio); his nephews, Gregory (Suzanne Mancini), Stephen (Donna Mancini) and Joseph D'Amico (Susan Arsenault); his godson Nicholas Veasey; and his cousins, Ben, Anne Kilcline, John Kilcline and Lena Hopkins.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony Church (1413 Mineral Spring Ave, North Providence, RI 02904). A committal service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Highland Memorial Park Cemetery (1 Rhode Island Ave, Johnston, RI 02919).
