Gertrude A. Resendes Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 17, 2023, at the age of 89, Gertrude A. Resendes (North Providence, Rhode Island) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eva Pellerin and Stanley Pellerin; her husband George W. Resendes; her siblings, Oscar Pellerin, Therese Maione, Gerard Pellerin and Constance Pellerin; her granddaughter Abbey Rose; and her great grandchild Margaret Rose.
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl, Rick Long of Smithfield, Connie, Jim Davey of North Smithfield, Roberta, Ed Merlino of Smithfield, Rebecca, Bob Thompson of Fort Myers, FL, Melissa and John Chaput of Smithfield; and her pet Trudy. She is also survived by her five daughters, she leaves her 19 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews.
