He was predeceased by : his wife Marie Dipina (Wooden); his parents, Joseph Dipina and Laura Dipina (Matthews); his son George Jr.; and his brothers, Joseph (Linda) and Larzo (Betty).
He is survived by : his grandson Jeremy Payne of North Providence, RI; and his great grandchildren, Xavier and Elijah Payne of Warwick, RI.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
