With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edith Iafrate (North Providence, Rhode Island), born in Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on October 31, 2019 at the age of 97. She was predeceased by: her husband Frank J. Iafrate; her parents, Guiseppe Marcello and Francesca Marcello (Caldarone); her son Raymond J.; and her siblings, Eleanora Carcieri, Theresa Castellucci, Jeanette Torti, James Marcello, Luco Marcello, Florence Prior and Lillian Beveridge.

She is survived by: her children, Stephen F. Iafrate (Nancy) and Patricia Iafrate Bellini (Dante); her daughter-in-law Catherine Iafrate DiChiaro (William); her grandchildren, Gregory R. Iafrate (Carly), Laura Iafrate Austin (Kevin), Mark J. Iafrate (Erika), Christine Iafrate Allain (Casey) and Meredith Iafrate Mahoney (Kevin); and her great grandchildren, Adrienne, Sydney, Julia, Gabriella, Gracelin, Cara, Avery, Adalyn, Michael, Harrison, Nicholas, Charlie, Vivian and Thomas. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
