She was predeceased by: her husband Mario "Charlie" Ruggerio; her son Charles "Chucky" Ruggerio; her parents, Joseph Prush and Mary Prush (Margolis); and her brother William.
She is survived by: her children, Senator Dominick J. Ruggerio and Lisa Aceto (James); her sister Joan Negris; her grandchildren, Charles Ruggerio, Christine DeSimone, Amanda Fallon, Justine Melo and Anthony Aceto; and her siblings, Joseph, Edward, Raymond, Stephen, John Prush, Eleanor O'Reilly and Agnes Kerr. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
