Desjarlais of North Providence, Rhode Island, born in Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away at the age of 80, on June 21, 2023. He was predeceased by : his parents, Leon Desjarlais and Evelyn Desjarlais (Herard); and his siblings, Gilbert, William, Robert Desjarlais, Yvonne Giacobbi and Valerie Tongue.

He is survived by : his wife Janice A. Desjarlais (Norton); his daughters, Kristi Kasanovich, Staci Chadwick and Michelle Mousseau (Michael); his grandchildren, Daniel, Julia, Jessica, Alex of Dennis, Lauren, Madison, Michael Jr. and Max; and his sister Louise Clement. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and godchildren.

“Janice and family, Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. I am so sorry for Dennis’ passing. I didn’t know him well, but I always admired him whenever he brought Rose to Mass. I saw them often together. I knew that Rose like my mom never drove. I am sure God will reward him. Beverly LaRoche”
