He was predeceased by: his parents, Francisco Avila and Maria of Coracao de Jesus; his siblings, Francisco, Jose, Luis and Maria of Lurdes; and his children, Carlos Manuel and Ana Luisa.
He is survived by: his daughters, Irene Amaral of Pawtucket, Mary-John Santos of North Providence, Fatima Aguiar of East Providence, Odilia Avila of Pawtucket and Paula Rodrigues of Central Falls; his children-in-law, Antonio Amaral of Pawtucket, Victor Santos of North Providence, Joao Rodrigues of Central Falls, Claudio Aguiar of East Providence, Raul Otero of Pawtucket and Maria Joao Avila; and his grandchildren, Crystal Hope Rodrigues, Kelly Avila, Melissa Fagundes, Tanya Santos, Joshua Pereira, Brandon Lopes, Chelsie Santos, Ashley Avila, Briana Lopes, MaKayla Rodrigues, Katelynn Rodrigues, Brittney Avila, Tyler Pereira and Kendra Rodrigues. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
