With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Barbara Ann Nassi of North Providence, Rhode Island, born in Providence, Rhode Island, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Barbara Ann left this world on November 9, 2024 at the age of 93, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Carmine Nassi; her parents, Gaetano Votta and Antonetta Votta (Viccione); and her siblings, John, Louis, Edward Votta and Rose Colella.
She is survived by: her children, Colleen DeCarlo (late Anthony), Carl Nassi (Lisa) and Joseph Nassi (Debi); her grandchildren, Deana Caito (David), Loriann Baccari (Eric), Giana Nassi, Kayla Protano (Michael), Carl Nassi and Matthew Nassi (Monica); and her great grandchildren, Ava, Sofia, Olivia, Mia, Ariana and Sienna.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Pontarelli-Marino Home (971 Branch Ave, Providence, RI 02904). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Ann Church (280 Hawkins St, Providence, RI 02904).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Barbara's memory to St. Antoine Residence, Patients Activity Fund, 10 Rhodes Avenue, North Smithfield, RI 02896.
