With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Anna Marie Vescera of North Providence, Rhode Island, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 14, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Frank Vescera; her parents, Rocco DeAngelis and Jennie DeAngelis (Caparco); and her siblings, Thomas DeAngelis, Caroline Hines (DeAngelis), Robert DeAngelis and Elaine Zinanni (DeAngelis).
She is survived by: her children, Gail Vescera, Francine Leonardo (Paul) and Frank Patrick Vescera (Geri-Anne); her grandchildren, Lauren Manocchia, Nicholas Manocchia, Danielle Leonardo, Justin Vescera and Brandon Vescera; her great grandchildren, Nicholas Jozef Manocchia and Evan William Manocchia; and her siblings, Gloria Labbadia (DeAngelis) of North Providence, Dolores Stoeckel (DeAngelis) of Smithfield, Joseph DeAngelis of Ontario and Anthony DeAngelis of Lincoln.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Pontarelli-Marino Home (971 Branch Ave, Providence, RI 02904). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Thomas Roman Catholic Church (65 Fruit Hill Ave, Providence, RI 02909).
