She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph F. Grimes, Sr.; her parents, Anthony DeSimone and Gabriela DeSimone (Marotta); her son John F. Grimes; and her sister Anna DiDonato.
She is survived by: her children, William G. Grimes of Cumberland, James P. Grimes of North Providence, Deborah L. Procopio of Foster, Sheila A. Murphy of Warwick, Mary E. Grimes of Los Angeles, CA, Joseph F. Grimes, Jr. and Paul A. Grimes; and her sister Beatrice Angell. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Cancer Society or Wounded Warriors Project.
