He was predeceased by: his parents, W. Elmer Douglas and Jean Douglas Hannan (McAllister); and his stepfather Patrick J. Hannan. He is survived by: his wife Mary E. Douglas (Esposito); his children, Robin P. Douglas (Paul Higgins) of Warwick, William R. Douglas, Jr. of Warwick and Stephen P. Douglas of North Kingstown; and his granddaughters, Rachel M. Douglas and Mia S. Douglas.
