He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. O'Connell, Sr. and Margaret O'Connell (O'Hara); and his sisters, Maureen Scanlon and Patricia Anderson. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia A. O'Connell (Mancini); his children, William H. O'Connell, III (Sharon), Kelly A. O'Connell (Michael), Darci M. Detorie (Frank) and Christopher R. Colapietro (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Sarah, Andrew, Jake, Madeline, Max, Tyler, Erin, Samantha and Julia; and his sister Margaret "Peggy" Coates. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
