He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter DellaGrotta and Concetta DellaGrotta (Melozzi); and his brother Vincent DellaGrotta. He is survived by: his wife Diane M. DellaGrotta (Micheli); his children, William "Billy" A. DellaGrotta of North Kingstown, Anthony "Tony" DellaGrotta (Erin) of Greene and Lisa J. Brown (Charles) of Coventry; his grandchildren, Brian Marchesseault, Kyle Brown, Christina DellaGrotta, Anthony DellaGrotta and Catherine DellaGrotta; his great grandchild Felise Marchesseault; and his siblings, Antonio DellaGrotta of Bristol, Madeline Cotoia of Narragansett, Augusto DellaGrotta, Pasquale DellaGrotta, Margie Morra and Jenny Petruno.
