He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund Phillips and Jane Phillips (Swallow). He is survived by: his wife Mary Phillips (Ceccarelli); his sister Betsy Ruest of Kentucky; and his friend Fred. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
