With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sidney Steen of North Kingstown, Rhode Island, born in West Bromwich, West Midlands, who passed away on August 6, 2020 at the age of 90. He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Steen and Annie Steen (Coleyshaw); and his siblings, Samuel, Dora, Annie, Albert, Olive, Doris and Florrie Steen.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Steen (Jeffrey); his children, Paul Steen (Serena) of Leicester, MA, Deborah Brielmaier of West Greenwich, RI, Sheryn Leach (Tom Amaral) of Coventry, RI and William Leach (Nancy Day) of Fall River, MA; and his grandchildren, Sian, Carrie Steen of Clacton, England, Tony Steen (Kaley), Lewis Steen (Katie), Josh Steen, Daniel Leach, Jessica Brielmaier, Tom Brielmaier and Karina Brielmaier. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions set forth by the Rhode Island Department of Health, attendance at the visitation will be limited.
