She was predeceased by: her parent Harold Seavey. She is survived by: her spouse Howard E. Matthews, Jr.; her parent Barbara Seavey (Singleton); her children, Allison Almeida (Matthews) and Evan Matthews (Kristin Walcott-Matthews); her grandchildren, Katherine Matthews and Alexander Matthews; her brother Jonathan Seavey (Cindy); and her nieces and nephews, Brittany Stevens (Jason), Kristen Matthews Garcia, Jonathan Seavey (Al Tena), Aaron Seavey and Brody Stevens.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation.
