She was predeceased by: her husband Peter Joseph Murray; her parents, Samuel Johnston and Mary Johnston (Dempsey); and her sister Barbara. She is survived by: her sibling Thomas Johnston; her children, Peter J. Murray (Linda) of Saunderstown, Patrick Murray (Stacie) of Whitinsville, MA, Maureen Murray of Exeter and Barbara A. Johnson (Daniel) of Narragansett; and her grandchildren, Peter J., Meaghan L., Dylan, Jameson, Braden Murray, Brianna, Julia, Samuel J. Van Gyzen and Maeve Madalyn Johnson. She is also survived by grandmother who was known to her grandchildren as "Nanny".
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association .
