He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Frances Nannig (Gannon); his parents, August Nannig and Marion Nannig (Allen); his sisters, Barbara Gardner and Irma Reynolds; and his children, Douglas Nannig (Elle), Robert Nannig (JoAnn), Paul Nannig (Susan) and Linda Shortman. He was also cherished by nine Grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
