It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria C. Carvalho (North Kingstown, Rhode Island), who passed away on February 13, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Fernando Lemos; her parents, Carlos Carvalho and Marcelina Carvalho (Almeida); and her sister Hirondina Carvalho. She is survived by: her children, Conceicao Teodoro (Luis) and Grace Pedro (Victor); her grandchildren, Miguel, Daniel and Anne; and her great grandchildren, Madalena, Teresa, Maxwell and Mia.
