With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret Getchell (North Kingstown, Rhode Island), born in New Bedford, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 3, 2021 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Elbridge "Tiny" W. Getchell; her parents, Kasper Teser and Margaret Teser (Bohn); her grandson Gregory Getchell; and her sibling Marion Chagaruly.
She is survived by: her sons, Maurice "Butch" L. Getchell (Peggy) of Exeter and Bruce E. Getchell (Nancy) of Coventry; her grandchildren, Tammi Hogberg (Kevin), Garrett Getchell (Carrie Gaudiano), Tricia Donnelly (Tim), Adam Getchell (Christiana), Melanie Getchell (Andrew Aughinbaugh) and Alex Getchell; her great grandchildren, Dylan, Braden Hogberg, Abby, Jacob Donnelly, Haille Getchell, Cameron Getchell, Madeline Houle and Chloe Aughinbaugh; and her siblings, Leena Magnat, Frank, Kasper, Jacob and Joseph Teser. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
