It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Bridget Doherty (North Kingstown, Rhode Island), born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on July 22, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son-in-law Michael Stewart; and her brother-in-law Kenneth Hallgring. She is survived by: her children, Kelly Frye (Stephen) of North Kingstown, RI, Dawn Stewart of Jacksonville Beach, FL, Bridget Farrar (Vincent) of Jacksonville Beach, FL and Bruce Edkin II; her wife Alicia of East Bridgewater, MA; her grandchildren, Meagan, Gianna, Francesca, Sarah, Bruce III and Vincent Jr.; and her siblings, Patricia Hallgring of Highlands, NJ, Kevin Doherty (Karin) of Toano, VA, Karleen Clocher (Raymond) of Largo, FL and Erin Overgaard (Steffen) of Belford, NJ. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
