He was predeceased by: his sons, Henry Childers III (Nina) and John Childers. He is survived by: his wife Pat (Redihan); his daughter Patricia Childers; his grandchildren, Oliver, Max, Henry, Alyce Childers and Caroline Childers Audet (Jeff); and his children, Clayton, Emma and Jax.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Henry's honor can be made to the Cranston Animal Shelter at 920 Phenix Ave, Cranston, RI 02921.
