He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Ward, Jr. and Gertrude M. Ward (Fitzgerald); and his brothers, John Ward (Jackie) and Gerald T. Ward. He is survived by: his children, John A. Ward of Warwick and Perri A. Ward of North Kingstown; his granddaughter Haleigh J. Ward; his brother Richard "Tav" Tavernelli (Tomi) of Plymouth, Massachusetts.; and his siblings-in-law, Margaret Ward of North Kingstown, Bob Perry (Rosemary) of Tucson and Irene Puhl of Maryland. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
