He was predeceased by: his father Edward M. Bassette Jr.. He is survived by: his fiancée Jeannine Jorgensen; his brother Merle Martin Bassette; his sister-in-law Karen H. Bassette of Providence; his sister Elizabeth "Beth" Bassette of Florida; and his nieces, Jada Elizabeth Bassette of Providence and Alexandria Dominque Dumas of Florida. He is also survived by Aunts, Uncles and cousins along with many friends.
