He was predeceased by: his spouse Joan P. Gove-Leavitt; his child Kenneth A. Leavitt, Sr.; his parent Ralph E. Leavitt, Jr.; and his stepchild Margaret Butler-Maine. He is survived by: his child Barry K. Leavitt, Jr.; his parent Gertrude M. Leavitt (Severance); his stepchildren, Katherine Gove of Harrodsburg, KY, Melinda Soderberg of Wakefield, Eric Gove of Newkirk, OK, Sarah Rockwell of North Kingstown and Bessie Shaw of Richmond; and his grandchildren, Aleasha Geurts, Nicole Leavitt, Kenneth A. Leavitt, Jr. and Amanda Pacheco.
In lieu of flowers, gifts in his memory to the Knights of Columbus St. Francis Council 2011, P.O. Box 471, North Kingstown, RI 02852 will be appreciated.
