He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Diana L. Brown (Evans); his daughter Heather R. Pierson (Brown); his son-in-law John C. Pierson (Jay) of Hockessen, DE; his son Todd K. Brown of North Kingstown, RI.; his grandchildren, John B. Pierson (Jake), Samantha R. Pierson (Sammy) and Owen A. Pierson; his parents, Lt. Commander Kenneth L. Brown and L. Jeanette Brown (Carlisle); and his brother Robert L. Brown (Patricia).

Due to the Coronavirus, his funeral will be private.
