She was predeceased by: her parents, Dominic Caruso and Nicolina Caruso (Panaggio); her sister Antionette Maloof; her nephew Francis Maloof; and her former husband John J. Trifero Sr..
She is survived by: her children, Celeste (Vicki) and John (Suzette); her granddaughter Nicolina; and her niece Alice Hayes.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the O'Neill-Hayes Funeral Home (465 Spring St, Newport, RI 02840). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church (42 Spring St, Windsor Locks, CT 06096).
