She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Barlow and Helen Barlow (Maher); her husband John "Spud" Chandler; her son David Chandler; and her brothers, Howard Barlow (Pudge) and Stephen Barlow.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cheryl Chandler, Cathleen Vieira (Joe), Colleen Benoit (Glen) and Caryn Palmer (Andrew); her grandchildren, David (Kate), Daniel (Kelsie), Eric Vieira (Evan), Adam (Mariana), Evan, Ian Benoit, Caeli, Mackenzie, Brynn Palmer, Hunter and Kylie Atkins; her great grandchildren, Penelope, Blake, Oliver Vieira and Melissa Benoit; and her siblings, Bob Barlow, Marion Goodgame (Barlow) and Sylvia Barlow. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the O'Neill-Hayes Funeral Home (465 Spring St, Newport, RI 02840). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the St. Columba Cemetery (465 Browns Ln, Middletown, RI 02842).
In place of flowers, the family requests donations to Rogers High School Athletic Department, c/o David Chandler Award, 15 Wickham Rd, Newport, RI 02840 or to Newport Fire and Rescue Department, 21 W. Marlborough St, Newport, RI 02840 in her honor.
