Patricia Olechnowicz Obituary

As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Patricia may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen Toppa and Katherine Toppa (Shea); her son Eugene "Willie" Olechnowicz; her husband William "Gene O" Olechnowicz; and her brothers, Terry Toppa and Paul "Butch" Toppa.
She is survived by: her son Marc Anthony Olechnowicz. She is also survived by his dog Rome, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the O'Neill-Hayes Funeral Home (465 Spring St, Newport, RI 02840). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Augustin's Church (5 Harrison Ave, Newport, RI 02840).
