It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Elizabeth McIntyre of Newport, Rhode Island, born in Charlotte, North Carolina, who passed away on August 9, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Squire McIntyre and Gladys Gwynn McIntyre; and her son-in-law Trevor Stuart. She is survived by: her husband Jacob Charles Barnhardt Jr.; her children, Gwynn Barnhardt Sullivan, Virginia Johnston Barnhardt (Jennie), Jacob McIntyre (Mac) and Caroline Barnhardt Stuart; and her grandchildren, Victor James Sullivan, Evan Gwynn Sullivan, Clay Barnhardt Sutton, Kelsey Barnhardt Sutton, McIntyre Lynn Barnhardt, Jacob Paul Barnhardt, William Meier Barnhardt and Jesse Kuykendall Stuart.
A memorial service for family and friends is being planned for a later date pending COVID status and precautions.
