He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Augustin Jagschitz and Magdalena Forster Jagschitz; his siblings, Ernest C. Hunter, Louis Jagschitz, Augustin Hunter and John Jagschitz; his wife Helen Hunter; and his children, Barbara Lieberman of Portsmouth, Michael S. Hunter of Arizona, Patrick S. Hunter and James B. Hunter of Connecticut. He was also cherished by five grandchildren; 3 great grand-children; and several nieces and nephews.
