Marguerite Sloan Bailey Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marguerite Sloan Bailey of Newport, Rhode Island, born in Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on May 18, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Sloan and Marguerite Sloan; her husband Col. Bruce Bailey; and her brother James Sloan. She is survived by: her children, James Bailey, Dr. Michael Bailey, Merri Dobler, Marguerite Hess, Melody Phelps, Heidi Bailey, Joy Rozanski, Barry Bailey and Sloan Bailey. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
