It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Jean Strange of Newport, Rhode Island, who passed away on May 2, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Lloyd; her parents, Charles Knight and Trula Knight (Householder); and her siblings, Charles Knight, Glenn Knight and Barbara Shoemaker.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Strange (Janice) of Grainger Co, Lynn Strange (Trudy) of Knoxville, Penny England (Tommy) of Knoxville and Doug Strange (Karen Smith) of Knoxville; her grandchildren, Dustin Strange, Wendy Lampkin, Curtis Strange (Elizabeth), Rebekah Crowe (Brandon), Ben Strange (Hannah), Derrik England (Bridget) and Michael England (Natalie); her great grandchildren, Troy Lampkin, Laney Lampkin, Ava Strange, Nora Strange, Charlie Strange, Cainan Crowe, Corban Crowe, Cooper Crowe, Palmer England, Jax England, Sawyer England and Luke England; and her sister-in-law Doris Shepherd.
In lieu of flowers, the family would suggest memorial contributions to the Chilhowee Hills Baptist Church Youth Ministry.
