She was predeceased by: her parents, Karl Frankenberger and Lisette Frankenberger; her husband Albert E. Bowley; and her brothers, Werner, Fritz and Hans.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Cordeiro (Jim), Albert "Tip" Bowley (Adele), William "Bill" Bowley (Caryn), Carl "Mouse" Bowley (Beth), Lisa Davis (Carl) and Christopher "Tiger" Bowley (Karolyn); her close friend Jim Dias; and her siblings, Renate (Franz), Helmuth (Irene) and Edmund (Helga). She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
