McGowan of Newport, Rhode Island, born in Troy, New York, who passed away on April 26, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her daughter Kathy (Schusler); and her daughter-in-law Stacey. She is survived by: her children, Ann Marie Mehlert (Peter), Andrew (Laurie) and Thomas; her son-in-law Steven Schusler; her sister Diane Blanchard; her grandchildren, Andrew, Tara (Michael Halle), Keara (Nathan Ranney), Peter, Patrick, Ryan and Casey; and her great grandchildren, Judah and Cameron. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
