He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis Emerson and Marion Emerson (Murphy); his sons, David and Christopher Emerson; and his daughter-in-law Sheryl Emerson.
He is survived by: his wife Audrey-Jean Emerson (O'Connor); his daughter Marion E. Walsh; and his children-in-law, Patrick and Colleen Kelly Emerson. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
