She was predeceased by: her husband Col. William Lappin; her parents, Henry A. Rayner and Ellen Rayner (Downey); her sister Pauline Betz; and her nephew John Rayner (Marianne).
She is survived by: her brother Henry C. Rayner; and her nieces and nephews, Peter Betz (Denise), Cathleen Rayner, Claire Rayner, Carol Rayner, Tom Rayner (Ellen), David Kennedy (Cathy), Bruce Lorange and Roy Lorange.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Potter League for Animals.
