He was predeceased by: his brother Myron T. Herrick; his parents, Parmely W. (Katherine Gardner Herrick) and France; and his great-grandparents, Myron T. Herrick and France.
He is survived by: his sister Anita G. Herrick of Washington, D. C.; his wife Nannette C. Cavanagh; his sons, Jason Herrick (Lindsay), Adam Herrick and Timothy Herrick (Katie); his stepchildren, John H. I. Brokaw Jr. (Jenny), Christina Brokaw Bassett (Todd) and Justin A. Kreizel (Catherine); his granddaughter Rose Dimond Phinney (William Grosvenor); and his great-uncles and great-aunts, Isabella Stewart Gardner and Boston.
