He was predeceased by: his wife Persephoni "Peggy" Stavrakes; his son Paul; his parents, Paul Contos and Persefone Contos; and his sister Penelope Dikegoros (Contos).
He is survived by: his daughter Pennie Contos; his sister Maria Tatalias (Contos); and also Paul. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and godchildren.
Due to Covid 19 the interment will be private.
