David Plank Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 30, 2020 we had to say goodbye to David Plank of Newport, Rhode Island. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Plank and Abbie Plank (Cook); his wife Carol; his son Carl; his siblings, Gene (Lorraine) and Margaret Bricco; his siblings-in-law, William Hameister, Melvin Verkuilen, Dwain Glaser and Ethel Glaser (Hameister); and also, Herman and Gertrude Hameister (Caliebe).
He is survived by: his children, Amy (Donald Schneekloth) and Thomas (Mary); his grandchildren, Dr. Brian Schneekloth (Michelle), Dr. Lauren Schneekloth, Allison Matz (Ethan) and Emily Plank (Mike Wynn); his sister Dolores Verkuilen of Wittenberg; his great grandchildren, Coleman Schneekloth, Callan Matz and Micah Schneekloth; and his sister-in-law Lois Hameister. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Due to Covid 19, a private memorial service with full military honors for Dave will be held at Valley Funeral Home on October 8, 2020 at Noon followed by Internment at Riverside Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Greenville, WI.
