Darlene M. Galkowski Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Darlene M. Galkowski (Newport, Rhode Island), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 29, 2024 at the age of 94. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Darlene M. Galkowski to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Kueny and Anna Kueny (Price); and her daughters, Rita Kelly and Mary Galkowski. She is survived by: her husband Robert E.; and her children, Lawrence Galkowski, Robert Galkowski (Kris), Gerald Galkowski, Teresa Grant (Chris), Ann Galkowski and Peter Galkowski (Sheila). She is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Jesus Saviour Church (509 Broadway, Newport, RI 02840).
In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations made in their mother's memory to John Clarke Senior Living, c/o Activities Fund, 600 Valley Rd, Middletown, RI 02842.
