He was predeceased by: his parents, George MacDonald and Georgianna MacDonald (Jarvis); and his siblings, George MacDonald, Beverly Novick, Ronald MacDonald and William MacDonald.
He is survived by: his wife Maryanne Fischer MacDonald; and his children, Karen Ferris (Russ) of Portsmouth, Krista Gauthier and Brian Gauthier. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, two great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
