It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobbie Carpenter (Newport, Rhode Island), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on May 14, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter H. Lowy and Virginia Pinney Lowy; and her husband Ralph E. Carpenter. She is survived by: her sister Carol L. Roberts; her brother-in-law Edgar J. Roberts of Charlottesville, VA; her nephews, Judd Roberts (Lisa Hellfrich) of Brooklyn, NY and James Roberts (Lisa Starr) of Brooklyn, NY; her niece Victoria Roberts (Simon Piluski) of Putney, VT; her great-nephew Matthew Roberts; her great-nieces, Charlotte Roberts, Maya Piluski and Hazel Piluski; her stepdaughter Cynthia Carpenter Linton of Chicago; her stepgrandson Robert Carpenter Linton; and her great grandchildren, Bryan, Evan and Sabrina.
