He was predeceased by: his parents, Mace Pouncey and Vera Pouncey (Caine); his former wife Bianca Calcagni Pouncey (Betty); his wife Helen McCarthy Pouncey; and his siblings, Dewey, Jamie, Frank Pouncey, Lurlene Johnson and Unavey Pouncey.

He is survived by: his daughter Mary Frances Iacobbo (Pouncey); his grandchildren, Antonia Leong (Adam) of Mill Valley, CA and Nicholas Iacobbo (Irene Santacruz) of Providence, RI; his great grandchildren, Scout Brocklehurst and Kaia Leong; and his sister Janel Powell of Fort Deposit. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
