She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph G., Sr. and Eva Formicola (Vespia); and her brother William D. "Bill" Formicola. She is survived by: her husband Joseph Fitzsimmons; her children, Ashley Fitzsimmons Hawkins (Brandon) of Charlestown and Christopher Fitzsimmons (Julia Fitzgerald) of Coventry; her brother Joseph G. Formicola, Jr. (Narragansett) of Miami Beach, FL; her grandson Wyatt David Hawkins; and her pet Brady. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nardolillo Funeral Home - South County Chapel (1111 Boston Neck Rd, Narragansett, RI 02882). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Thomas More Church (53 Rockland St, Narragansett, RI 02882).
