We are sad to announce that on November 1, 2023, at the age of 88, Shirley A. Schalhoub of Narragansett, Rhode Island, born in Brooklyn, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis "Ed" McDonagh and Agnes McDonagh (O'Halloran); her husband John A. Schalhoub; her daughter Bernadette Brannick (James) of Elmira, NY; and her siblings, Edward McDonagh and Margaret Sullivan.
She is survived by: her children, Laura M. Rush (James) of Narragansett and John A. Schalhoub, Jr. (Julia) of Waterford, CT; her grandchildren, Brendan Rush, Anna Schalhoub, Michael Brannick, Carolyn Rush-Rogers, Audrey Schalhoub, Anthony Schalhoub and Marissa Brannick; and her great grandchildren, Rodrigo Rush and Maeve Rogers.
In lieu of flowers donations in her memory can be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
